We are honored to be recognizing Aaron Morrow and Pete Rodriguez as Award Recipients for the “2018 Wings of Eagles Sales Recognition Program” from Thomas Built Buses. Aaron reached the very prestigious Eagles Nest level and Pete received the high honor of Silver Eagle. This program is based upon meeting all the stringent program criteria based on product demonstrations, bus sales, as well as hundreds of hours of product and sales trainings. It takes years of bus sales experience to reach these goals. Pete and Aaron were recognized and received their awards at the 2019 Thomas Built Buses’ Dealer Meeting in Aurora, CO. Congratulations go out to Dean August our Parts Director as well as our entire Parts Department team! At the recent Thomas dealer meeting, Matthews Bus Parts earned the prestigious Parts Excellence Award at the Gold level for 2018. There are 48 Thomas Bus dealers in the country and this award is given to the elite Parts Departments of which there were 5 in the country. The criteria for the award consists of a matrix including sales quota, participation in Thomas sponsored events and training as well as utilizing Daimler marketing programs. This past year has seen an addition of some key personnel as well as new roles for existing members of the Parts team. Each branch including Ballston Spa, Liverpool, Dansville and Poughkeepsie have upped their game and provided excellence in supporting our Bus customers. The Parts Department looks forward to providing this same level of service to new schools that are taking advantage of all that Thomas Buses and Team Matthews has to offer.
In addition, Guy Matthews accepted the Thomas Presidents Club award on behalf of Matthews Buses. This award is the highest honor of Platinum level.
